Walking and mountain bike trails, we are right on the waikato river trails with over 50 kms of well-formed trails with board walks and swing bridges, Easy going to the more advanced it's all here, the trails wind their way along river flats merging into a number of picturesque hydro lakes. Admire the mighty hydro Dams there are four with in a day's walk or ride of That Dam Lodge.

Set in Pureora forest park 1/2 hr drive from lodge to the start of this trail we can arrange shuttle service as required
We offer a shuttle from the lodge for our guests, we will shuttle bunny in your car
We will drop you off on the Waikato river trail so you only need to do a one way trip back to the lodge, Two nights works best so you can cover both directions on the trail ,we can offer packed lunch from The Dam Cafe and home cooked meals at night, ask about package room and meal deals.
